Company History & Training:
Primary school at Cotonou – Position: school teacher. Company Training: Children teaching, Company training in determining how to take care of small children, and educate them, and sell school services to the local community.
Years: 1995-1997, about 3 years with this company.
Beneficial Life Insurance– Position: Salesman, I sold life and health insurance products in the Ivory Coast. Company Training: One month company training in the office. This training covered basic operational training for becoming a successful insurance salesman and also an understanding of the home office’s services and roles to aid the originators. Years: 1998, one year.
Government school – Position: children educational project Manager. Company Training: Two full months of company training that included all educational tools for teaching children, learning different methods of education models, information about teaching children, papers, documentation and how to recruit and sell the educational services.
Years: 1998-2007, 10 years.
Marketing– Position: Salesman. Company Training: Self training on the job. I sold beverage products.
Years: 1985-1992, 8 years.
Other Work History:
2004- 2006 I shared my skills with several local organizations in my country and others. I traveled to GHANA where I taught the adults French and worked as an animator and salesman in the Central Café of University of Legon. In BURKINA-FASO I had to exchange the experience with the students, I did research for local organizations on Fundraising, I was also trained in multimedia technology at Francophone Numeric Campus of Ouagadougou University.
2004-2007 Volunteer work for some non-profit foundations like Nabuur and UN online volunteering. I used my knowledge and research abilities to volunteer online and help several African Villages through the Nabuur Online Website and UN online volunteering website. Projects included HIV & AIDS related education and intervention projects, researching the start-up for African Internet Cafes, setting up a sports foundation in Kirinyaga/Kenya, researched and helped with African Education Projects for Elementary Schools.
I built and managed the online volunteer’s team to achieve local development goals. I worked locally as a volunteer in Centre de Joie Infantile of the Spanish organization “Messageros de las Paz”, this center takes care of the orphans and poor children in my country. Now I’m helping several friends and persons set up some local organizations in my fields.
Career Objective: I am really looking for a company that is willing to provide company training and education for Medical/Pharmaceutical industry. I do have a past background in sales, telecommuting, and feel I am very confident and personable when taking consumer Medical/Pharmaceutical information, applications, and sales related work. The perfect job would provide good company training, benefits, and an income at or above $30,000 per year plus generous commissions to start.
